Please read below, this will help you understand how the pricing model at njuko works. For any questions, please reach out to bonjour@njuko.com
Fixed cost per edition
When you login to njuko you will be able to create an edition from scratch, when you do this you are defaulted to a 0.20p per registration base fee (includes all registrations either paid, free or imported). This covers platform usage, secure data hosting and our ongoing maintenance.
On top of this base fee per registration will be module costs, or you may decide to choose a ready-made template that has its own cost – so your per registration cost may sit between 0.35p to £1 depending on your choices and needs.
Payment processing costs
Next you need to decide how your payments will be processed.
Your first option is to ask us at njuko to process all entry fees for you. This costs 3% + 0.25p per transaction, and we then pay you once a month.
Your second option is to connect your own payment gateway. For example, Stripe is the most common and they charge 1.5% + 0.20p per transaction. If you ask us to connect your Stripe account to njuko, we charge a simple 0.10p per transaction for the development. So, if you are paying 0.45p per registration, you are now paying 0.45p per registration + 0.10p per paid transaction to use njuko, and your Stripe fees are charged separately by them. If you have a different payment gateway please let us know.
Note that free or imported registrations don't cost you anything extra here, because the fees are per transaction.
The njuko II store
Once you have created your edition you will want to head to the store to select features (Modules as we call them). Many modules are free, however, some have a small per registration cost, this cost is in place because it enhances your suite of features available to either improve your organiser or entrants experience.
You only pay for what you use, to suit small, medium, and large event organisers fairly.
- The per registration cost is for all registrations within said edition (it's not how many times the feature is used).
- Once your edition is set to live mode you are unable to remove modules you have installed.
- You may install modules once your edition is live however, note that the per registration cost of these modules will apply to all registrations retrospectively, not just new ones from that point onwards.
A medium sized race typically gets to around 0.40p-0.60p per registration once a good selection of modules has been chosen – it really depends how much complexity you need. To give you an idea of what you could be looking at: you could be around 0.45p per registration + 0.10p per transaction (if we have connected your Stripe account) + Stripe fees (1.5% + 0.20p). So a paid registration will become 1.5% + 0.75p in total if you accumulate the costs charged by njuko and Stripe. There are also international card charges for Stripe that you should be aware of.
Templates
When creating an edition, you will notice you have the option to choose a template, these may be templates we have created or from partners. A template is a pre-built edition ready with recommended modules already installed and partially set up. These templates will give you a head start on setup, leaving you to simply update content, branding and some basic personalisation. Some templates may be more costly than starting from scratch as they save you set up time.
White label domain cost
At njuko we have the option to replace our domain with one of your choice, this incurs a £110 per month cost charged to your structure. Simply, we replace the njuko.com part of the URL with a domain that either you have bought, or we buy for you. The requirement we have is that the domain must be brand new with no other applications or websites hosted on it – if we buy the domain ourselves, we will handle the SSL renewal, if not, then this is up to you.
By having a white label domain, you can also customise the terms of use and privacy policy, the top left logo and favicon. It is important to note that even without the white label domain, the platform is built to be fully customisable with background images, logos, hex colour codes and custom messaging.
